Ganit Gyan is based on VEDIC MATHEMATICS.  Vedic mathematics talks about mathematics used in India during 500- 1000 BC. Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of mathematics which was rediscovered from Vedas in early 20th century by Sri Bharati Tirthaji (1884-1960). According to his research all mathematics is based on sixteen formulae (sutras). These sutras are divided into sub-sutras. With the help of these formulae a student can perform difficult and long calculation in algebra mentally. Vedic mathematics came from Vedic tradition of India. The Vedas are the most ancient record of human experience and knowledge passed down orally for generations and written down about 5000 years ago. Medicine, architecture, astronomy and many other branches of knowledge, including mathematics, are dealt with in the texts. The study of Ganit i.e. mathematics was given considerable importance in Vedic period. It is an ancient technique, which simplifies multiplication, divisibility, complex numbers, squaring, cubing, square roots and cube roots.

“Fast Maths” is a system of reasoning and mathematical working based on ancient Indian teachings called Veda. Fast Maths provides answer in one line where as conventional method requires several steps.

Course Structure

Sthapna:- An introduction to the concepts of Vedic Maths to bring a child to a common platform.4 Classes covering Addition, Subtraction, 2 digits Multiplication and Verification.

Sampurna:- is the main course, which is further divided into 4 Levels.

• Level – I

8 classes covering 2, 3, 4 and 5 digits multiplication, multiplication of equations, Squares and cubes.

• Level – II

8 classes covering the division of 3, 4, and 5 digits, equation and polynomial synthetic division.

• Level – III

8 classes covering square root, cube root, test of divisibility and addition and subtraction of mixed fraction.

• Level – IV

8 classes covering duplex, triplets, addition and subtraction and numerical ability.

Note:- One surprise test will be conducted in between and one practice and final test will be taken on the completion of each level of Sampurna.

Dikshanta:- is a test series of 4 weeks.

JIGSAW ABACUS WIZKID

– Jigsaw Abacus Wizkid (JAW) is the course for young brains who belong to the age group of 4-14 yrs.

– Jigsaw Abacus Wizkid (JAW) – 2.5 year programme consisting 10 stages.

– A certificate is issued at the completion of each stage.

– One class of 2 hrs. is conducted per week.

– Progress report card is issued to the parents which includes grading of their ward’s speed, regularity, confidence etc…

– Student Kit includes:- one bag, one student abacus, one T-shirt, one cap, set of 30 books and other stationary.

JIGSAW KINDER ABACUS

– Jigsaw Kinder Abacus (JKA) is the course for tiny tots who belong to the age group of 4-6 yrs.

– Jigsaw Kinder Abacus (JKA) – 1 year programme consisting 5 modules.

– A certificate is issued at the completion of each module.

– One class of 2 hrs. is conducted per week.

– Progress report card is issued to the parents which includes grading of their ward’s speed, regularity, confidence etc…

– Student Kit includes:- one bag, one student abacus, one T-shirt, one cap, set of 10 books and other stationary.

– After the completion of JKA, the students can directly join the 4th stage of Jigsaw Abacus Wizkid.

MYSTERY OF ABACUS

Abacus is an ancient Chinese calculator. Abacus is also considered to be forefather of computers as all the computer algorithms are based on this age old tool. It was founded 2000 years ago and is universally used.

ABACUS

This concept is popular in China, Malaysia, Australia and now in India. Abacus consists of strings enclosed in rectangular frame. It has beads on the string and each bead has a unique value associated with it.  The Abacus is used to teach children where they use both the hands to manipulate the beads.

In the initial stages, they take the help of abacus to workout the problems. Gradually the abacus is withdrawn and they use only the image of the abacus built-in their minds. This enables them to achieve a high level of speed, efficiency, accuracy, concentration and increase in memory power.

BRAIN DEVELOPMENT

Our brain is divided into two parts left brain and right brain. Left brain is more developed and is associated with analysis, logic and storage of information. But Abacus programme is meant for whole brain development, especially the right brain. Scientific research reveals  that a very small percentage of people use their right brain and those who use it, are bound to reach the top.
